The Nebraska Czechs of York celebrate their Czech heritage with an annual October Czechfest . The 2012 Czechfest will be held Sunday, October 21st at the York City Auditorium. 

Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursdays of September through April at 7:00 p.m. at Union Bank & Trust meeting room in York.  Czech language lessons and accordion practice regularly precede the meetings. 

The Nebraska Czechs of York sponsor a queen who represents our chapter at the state pageant and at numerous other events. 

The club also awards an annual scholarship to a high school senior.  Everyone is invited to participate in the club’s events.  

Participants and club members do not need to have a Czech heritage.
